Personal Background

Maureen is a third-generation Californian. An enthusiastic resident and booster of Oakland, she has lived in a comfortable California-Style bungalow in the Glenview district for over 40 years. Maureen shares and makes her home with her Brooklyn-born husband Bernie their son Tom. Favorite time of the year for the Family? Why, Spring Training through the World Series, of course!

When she’s not working or strategizing about Real Estate, Maureen enjoys reading, movies, music textile crafts, chocolate chip cookies, puzzles and games. (Her competitive spirit was put to the test in her appearance on television’s “Who wants to be a Millionaire?” While she agonized over walking away from the $250,000 question, her winnings did facilitate a basement renovation. By the way, do you know on which sea Russia and Turkey both have shorelines?) For over 25 years, she has enjoyed participation in a monthly Book Club.
